After feeling inspired by a doll house my father built for me in the shape of our childhood home, I decided to build this sculpture. Dollhouses are a great way to represent a house for what it was originally, despite what deterioration and time have done to it. This sculpture is a dollhouse of my childhood playhouse, also built by my father. Wood, sand paper, paint, beads, and many other small elements were combined to remember the playhouse as it once was, before the memory was lost.
